Dominion $800 million plus undisclosed requests about the BIG LIE promoters (e.g. fire Tucker boy)...Fox accepted that last-minute deal. The decision comes a week after the network agreed to pay a whopping $787.5 million (€713 million) to Dominion Voting Systems Corporation to avoid a libel suit. During this process, a number of private messages from Carlson were revealed, some of which harshly criticized Fox News manager and owner, Rupert Murdoch. LIES HAS CONSEQUENCES and DO NOT FUCK WITH THE OWNER wrbtrader
Maybe Tucker should not have been sexually harassing his staff, talking trash about the owners in text messages, and undermining the network. Why Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox News The top-rated Fox News host was dumped with little explanation, but both sides dropped hints through anonymous sources https://theweek.com/tucker-carlson/1022954/why-tucker-carlson-was-fired-from-fox-news
ratings simply means viewers.... if you cannot monetize it, it doesnt mean shit. it is what it is... you need to put down the politics and look at the money. Losing advertisers and paying out $800 million dwarfs humans simply putting on a channel.
They mislead, misrepresented, and arguably lied at times...say it ain't so. FOX did nothing that the others haven't done and still do 24/7. Carlson was no more hyperbolic than any other talking head on any other station. The fact is traditional media is going by the wayside and all of these firings are a last ditch effort to save the ship. Not going to work, their time is about up. Next you'll be telling politicians lie. The horror
You mean Newsmax and OAN? Sorry, that's just full of crap, and you know it. Or at least I hope you do. Unless, of course, you're still implicitly referring to Newsmax and OAN. (I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here; work with me.)
Learned something interesting, Carlson only got about 60% of the audience as Bill O’Reilly. In his day Bill O was a beast. He got canned too.
Bill O. was basically canned for the same thing... sexually harassing the staff and his overblown ego where he thought he was more ""bigger" than the owners. Same end result for both.
Murdock is not sentimental, once he decides he is tired of a problem, it's gone. Nobody expected the News of the World newspaper to be closed on a snap of his fingers. It's what he does.
