US said it banned buying Russian oil, but it seems it was just anonther lie: US secretly buying Russian oil from India... https://markets.businessinsider.com...ports-india-refineries-petro-logistics-2022-9
Europe also, buying oil from China and India. It is all a lie. You have to figure out that Russian oil has to be winding up somewhere when the world supplies are tight. The only reason oil went down is the temporary bailout of the US of China and Europe by selling them oil from the US strategic petroleum reserves. Now, that OPEC and probably, Russia cutting oil supplies, you have to figure out that higher oil prices are in the horizon. Oil is highly inflationary too. Add to that the Inflation Reduction Act with huge taxes on US companies, US consumers are about take it big in the groin area. Thank Joe Biden, remember to give credit where it is due.
US is the third largest oil producer in the world. And besides it's right next to Canada, the fourth largest oil producer in the world so even if it wants to buy oil, it buys oil from Canada which is right next door. It does not make sense to buy oil all the way from India. LOL This shit propaganda does not even make sense. LOL Why would US want to sanction Russia and still secretly buy from Russia? What's the point of putting on the sanction in the first place then? Fake news, fake report!!
Desperate countries will do desperate things like burning more coals, buying oil from non-oil producing countries etc etc
The "don't buy oil/gas from Russia" crowd is pretty much the same as the green energy crowd. Both are complete hypocrites who end up using plentiful fossil fuels and begging India, Saudi, etc. when in trouble. Not to mention the awful environmental conditions of those battery mines.
If this is true, this is exactly the same as the UN oil-for-food scandal all over again, sanctioning Iraq and at the same time allowing Iraq to illegally smuggle stuff out to the market for its own benefit thereby nullifying the sanction. So this is how they fight inflation without getting into a recession? Throwing Ukraine under the bus? LOL
Why would India not keep quiet about the transaction? Being a middle man, India stands to gain financially. India wants it to fail?
Petro-Logistics prob. found out through some other ways. Notice the title of the report says: The US and other countries that sanctioned Moscow are likely importing Russian oil via India
Yes, it is almost impossible because that would be the worst thing the US government ever did ;-) But I agree it does not make too much sense
