Which part? 101 intro into NLP embeddings...

Which tells me you probably only watched the first 10 seconds and jumped to a conclusion.

Here's the same vid with the time clip

Lol, I am a contributor to OpenAI. And no, I did not even watch the video for one second. I know what chatgpt is. But I did open and skip through different sections of the clip now. I stand by my statement, most is 101 input word embeddings. Word embeddings have virtually nothing whatsoever to do with time series based or other financial data related structures. You would need to create a completely different embedding structure to work with, for example transformers, on time series based data structures.

Not sure why this clip or chatgpt for that matter is even mentioned on this site. It's completely irrelevant.

I've made several "competent" a.i. systems. I quit trying when I realized our Turkish mafia controlled military had been stealing them and erasing my memory.

My favorite was the time I tried to make one with the intention of letting it use idle processor time for several months or years to train. I set it so it would prompt me when it was trained. I hit the enter key, shuffled around some of my papers and reorganized when out of the corner of my eye the prompt came up indicating training was complete.

I get lots of jealous comments like that. I consider it a complement.

Have seen many "IT specialists" trying to develop a powerful trading strategy. It never worked because one essential think was missing: the original and creative human brain that should feed the computer to enable him to come up with that holy grail.

  8. While using ChatGPT to predict stock prices remains a hot debate, it's hard to ignore the potential. For retail businesses, the landscape of market data is crucial.

if you know the strats for all marker players, and their risk reward profiles and if those are stable over time and you have enough hardware and the method to do the forecasting, then theoretically yes

practically no, because you don't know the stats for all market participants and no, their risk and reward profiles are not stable over time and no, even if you had all that information you would need a quantum comp to factor that in and your market impact will kill your strategy

so rest in peace, no, not possible
    but attempts will be made

it's all in the prompt - idiot prompt - idiot response. detailed to the max prompt - much better results.

so don't dismiss ai cause you're a idiot and can't use it.
