Second ammendment is not really a partisan issue;its bi-partisan A local judge just won th Republican primary[Kyle Atkins had 5,093 votes, to Mr Martindale's 3,810votes ] in TN[Kyle Atkins] His republican opponent Mr Martindale ran an ad saying Atkins was not really a Republican since he gave big bucks to a Dem fundraiser BUT either one looked OK; but Mr Atkins, winner, said[in an ad, postcard] he believed in, supported 2nd ammendmant:. Not likely a 2nd ammendment hater could get elected in south or west or ANY US rural area ,generally speaking.
