But Trump said "This is a record amount of money," And you call it pacifist, guess you know more than Trump the great businessman. “We need to sell them as much as possible," Kushner told colleagues at a national security council meeting weeks before the May 2017 summit in Saudi Arabia, according to an administration official familiar with the matter. Another U.S. official said there was a back and forth between Kushner and Department of Defense and State officials on how to get to a larger number “It was definitely being pushed on the Pentagon people to see what was possible with the Saudis.” https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/kushner-pushed-inflate-saudi-arms-deal-110-billion/story?id=59418244 If Hunter Biden did this, Joe would be impeached for it. It's very clear that Kushner lobbied for the Saudi's and then got the 2 billion to 'manage', it's the most obvious bribery scheme you can find in government. Do something favorable while in office and then get your money after 'retirement'.
That goes without saying. Either way, your debate on this matter, especially if relegated to the above.... weak at best. ~case closed
So you are saying that importing 10 billion a year is a pacifist amount for a country that never imported anything over 5 billion ever? Or the fact that their entire defense budget was 50 billion a year and they inked a deal to spend one-fifth of it on the Kushner deal?
if I was saying that, that would be what I said. Have you checked the price of "defensive in nature" weapons lately? Allow me to point you in the direction of Raytheon and Boeing's show-room floor.
We are specifically talking about Saudi Arabia, you said 10 billion is a small amount for them - I showed you that's completely wrong. Saudi's bet one-fifth of their budget on the Kushner deal and Kushner got paid for it.
I posted the chart to show that 10 billion was not a small amount for Saudi's which is what you implied, that chart had nothing to do with the deal - it was to show that Saudi-Kushner deal was the biggest.
