I realize that, but you're not going to change my mind on wishing their ass getting handed to them. In all seriousness, the cop could've justifiably asked him to step out of the car for the aggressive behavior and provoke a physical altercation, but chose the higher road.
Cursing out a cop is not illegal and he made no threats to the cops safety,he even asked for the pen rather than aggressively reaching towards the cop taking it so he wouldnt be shot. You support police brutality and rights being violated dont be a hypocrite if it happens to someome you know or support.
Someone you know rights could be violated or victim of police brutality for something other than being disrespectful to the police.Eithier you support police brutality and rights being violated or you dont.
The Charlottesville protesters were pieces of shit and I wouldn't support police bashing thier heads in if they broke no laws.
I'm equal opportunity when it comes to assholes being taught a lesson, regardless of niceties in the law...be it Nazis getting popped in the mouth by antifa without physical provocation, or some douche bag acting hard for youtube views. It may be illegal, but I'm not perfect, and I wouldn't blame that cop if he escalated the situation. Doubt you could find a jury of peers that would.
I do not condone any type of police brutality, but before you go grouping all peace officers in the same mold you might try walking in their shoes for a day, do a ride along. It will open your eyes. Cops daily are dealing with some type of human/personal tragedy or the general underbelly of humanity. It has an effect after a while. I've known several.
Cities are paying millions in tax payer money for police misconduct settlements because of what you support.
