Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren may need to send up some smoke signals to her Cherokee tribe asking for more monies. It is far easier to crush her totally. Just ask her about her Native American blood and how she used it to get scholarships then, a teaching job at Harvard. Not even counting her lie about the middle class not paying higher taxes over her Medicare for All. Oh, she also, said she was capitalist in the Nevada debates. In one of my posts a couple days before the Iowa Caucus (I can;t find it so it must be under an Iowa Caucus thread rather than a Warren thread) I said that Iowa was the last chance to finish Poky off before the convention, otherwise she would try to get up again - not that she would necessarly succeed- but that the rotational nature of things will require re-looks of all the candidates. I think in that thread I said she would need to go below 14% percent to be killed off. Meaning her lowa loss would need to take her below 14% in national polls. She has managed to hover above that. This was pre-bloomberg drama and all of that. I pretty much still see it the same way. If she can make it to SuperTuesday- and she can now because she got some bucks and the drama has given her street cred- then she gets a chance to see the deck reshuffled. T To have any chance at all, she does not need to win the primary, she just needs to see someone else not-win it such that they go to a brokered convention. And from there the forces that be will take Bernie down. But that is her pathway, if any. Obviously, the fact that Bernie is on a tear of late and might reach a majority before the convention undermines that theory. But the fact that most democrats and americans- outside of Bernieville- still cannot wrap their mind around nominating a socialist and giving the election to Trump on a silver platter supports it. Anway...just to reconfirm. My prediction on July 30- Biden will not be the nominee. My prediction on July 30- Elizabeth Warren will be the nominee. My updated prediction for today, having updated it several times before along the way: Elizabeth Warren and no Biden. I will take my lumps as needed along the way rather than crabwalk away from them. So far, feeling good about the Biden prediction- but thanks anyway to everyone for the rotten tomatoes back when he was looking golden. On the Pokey part, I stay the course. If Bernie gets a majority then he does, but if he doesn't well then.....the beat goes on. Back in July there were only two others who were on the record, I believe, Smallfill and Buy1.And they are staying the course on their views as well, it would appear. Good. We don't need any robo-posters here, or ones who hedge their comments to the point where it says nothing.
That;s some ballsy shiite right there- about supporting Bloomie. Of course she is playing the little "I am the unifier" game and we must all stick together behind ME. Of course if you are Bernie or one of other candidates you fire back by saying: Sure, Pokey it is easy for you to support Bloomie. After all, you are both basically republicans. But hey, not for me to give them any ideas. Needless to say, I dont believe her about supporting Bloomie for a second. She would go out and do some things supporting other dem state level candidates and gleefully watch Bloomie lose the slot she wanted. Warren says she'd endorse Bloomberg against Trump from cnn.
Bernie will be the nominee, UNLESS, he cuts some kind of deal and is open about that, which is unlikely, or, he has one of those unfortunate Clinton associated "accidents". He could just croak as he is a old man with a bad ticker. Other than that he's in, otherwise they have a wholesale riot on their hands. They have allowed this socialist/communist monster to grow and grow and now they're stuck.

Last summer there was still some thought that the "mainstream" democrats still had a slight hold on reality and rational thinking. Now we know different.
The fact that they kept bringing in new candidates on a weekly, then monthly basis gave them hope that someone who was not a complete joke was just around the corner. Now that the pool is established at least for being on ballots and they see that their nominee must be someone withing that pool it scares the horses. Thirty frigging candidates and we are talking the ghosts from christmas past- Biden, Bernie. Unbelievable. I don't know how the hell the dems get out of this one, and the dems are saying that so it is not just a political bias on my part. And yes to your earlier points about tickers, accidents etc. As I have said three times before, Rumsfelds cautionary statements about knowns, unknowns, unknown unknowns will come into play before this over. I am going with Hillary. If Sanders were elected based on some magic mushrooms or something, he would at least destroy the down-ballots in a way that would create some opposition in the house and senate. Hillary at the top would not kaibosh the down-ballot. Plus everyone already hates her so that would work against her for a while too. Until she replenishs the swamp. That's one nasty choice between those two though.
