Hi, What can you tell me about Outside Days ?
For those who don't know what an outside day is ...
It's simply a candle that is both higher and lower than the previous one.

Any stats ? Interesting stories about it ?

    Thanks

  3. Yes, the candle is so big you don't know whether you are looking at a daily or a yearly chart.

  4. Good one.

Outside Days are about as rare for me as Outside Days are on the S&P 500 (just below 10% of all days are Outside Days). :)

  5. On the contrary, Inside Days with me are quite common. Much more common than they are on the S&P. Sad, really.

But, since I know that Inside Days happen less than 10 % of the time in the S&P 500, my Inside Days are often profitable.

    LOL. :)

  8. You can trade outside days on daily data with S&P500 index as breakout system. It is profitable trading strategy but not something very good.

  9. Do you make money, decent money, good money, relatively consistently, trading Candles?
    Seems like a semi-flawed, semi-incomplete, approach,

Candles are the light through darkness.
Do you prefer to trade based on the moon ?
