SOXL today 2/10/22 @ 51.94 as of 10:41 am est...you left alot of money on the table. don't fool yourself calling yourself a swing trader when you are a closet day trader.
vincentnyc Whatever you say, I can't even see. I know it is all garbage. I enjoy my swing trades. Or day trades if I want them be.
I am a very strict trader when it comes to following my strategy or a trading plan. I don’t hop from one strategy to another if I see that the market is not going in my favour. It may help a trader to win once or twice but this is not viable in the long run.
%% 10 single stocks is a lot to keep up with/ETFs help some...............................................
Not really. Either they are doing what I expect them to do or not. Quick look at a chart tells me what it's doing or rather what it's done. I have to decide what I'm going to do. If/Then scenario!! If the price does this/Then I will do that. ETFs are overdiversification.
%% I see what you mean. I meant keeping up with them + beating the SPY benchmark\ so few do that over 10 years, its not worth the time for me. About 20%[full time professionals] beat the SPY benchmark, from year to year\ almost none do it for 10 years. IF you can/fine with me......................................................................................................................,
I'm pretty sure that if you used the time you spend posting to ET you could quite easily outperform the S&P.
%5 Most likely right; + many times, even if we use even better benchmarks , than SPY like QQQ.[NOT better all the time\last year spy beat qqq mostly + that seldom happens]
In forex, it is when you don’t close your position the same day you’ve opened it. Day trading means you are opening and closing the position the same day, but in swing trading, you keep the positions open for more than a day or a few days.
