I meant the pro-Palestine view. Each side is painting the other as extremists. I’m looking for a balance, to understand both sides of the story.
I'm not saying they'd ever give a pro-Hamas opinion, nobody should, just saying they're having congress critters calling Palestinians (not Hamas) Arab Nazis pushing forward the conflation.
Agree... it's getting a little propaganda-ish. I'm trying to stay non-partisan. I realize that finding a completely unbiased view of both sides is a pipedream, but I'd like to at least understand the Palestine view.
It's a lengthy history but it starts about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandatory_Palestine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Partition_Plan_for_Palestine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_Declaration_of_Independence https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Palestinian_expulsion_and_flight https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1947–1948_civil_war_in_Mandatory_Palestine
Hmm, too bad the truth that it never happened can't wash it away, but I fear your right. People tend to believe lies they want to believe. Here's the proof. https://www.dailymirror.lk/worldnew...laim-of-’’Hamas-beheading-babies’’/108-269231 OP: Here is an interesting analysis of what actually happened in the Hamas attack. Probably accurate, but not complete. This one suggests the atrocities were fabricated and this was a military attack. Civilian casualties were not intended. No one will believe that, of course, and I don't know, but it changed my perspective to one of NOT knowing, of realizing the truth is rather obscured. It includes some very interesting eyewitness reports from Israelis hostages. Not saying it's totally true, but we've been fed a massive narrative, and I've learned to radically distrust any mainstream narrative and about half the counter-narratives. Post-truth world, sad to say.
Well only if you ignore all videos of the dead bodies from the music festival and other locations — and also ignore all the eye witness accounts of the slaughter of civilians by Hamas. The atrocities by Hamas are not fabricated; they are real. Reports of 260 Israeli music fest deaths aren’t unsubstantiated. Photos, videos document toll https://www.politifact.com/factchec...s-of-260-deaths-at-israeli-music-fest-are-no/
This is coupled with the video from Al Jazeera showing missiles being fired by Hamas and then a mere few seconds later one of them going off course and striking the hospital. Of course when Al Jazeera was called out on this, they merely took down the video and are now pretending it does not exist while still trying to blame Israel -- but it is all over the internet at this point. Plus the video footage from Israel Surveillance video appears to show failed rocket launch causing Gaza hospital blast https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveb...led-rocket-launch-caused-gaza-hospital-blast/
Most of extreme liberal media is biased and slanted towards the left. Israel is always at fault and Hamas is the good guy? For guys without any functioning brain cells and copy and paste artists like GWB, whatever garbage the extreme liberal media puts out is fact. So, essentially, most media outlets are pro-Hamas, pro-Ukraine, pro-warmongers. Kmiklas, is obviously, another live one as in crazy. How can this guy miss the very obvious media bias against Israel?
On a related note, this is an interesting article about the impact of the war on Palestinian tech startups. The Palestinian Startup Ecosystem Has Represented Economic Hope. War Is Decimating It https://www.forbes.com/sites/sarahe...ic-hope-war-is-decimating-it/?sh=627dcbf21a43
