How long would it stay toppled in this day of technology? Rome descended into the dark ages over many hundreds of years, John Gotti types ran the main church and made up theology that would bring in money, nobility folk [warlords] owned serfs that couldn't read. What could they do in this day with libraries and internet? I'm thinking that the culture could go down one level of organization, lose the factory farming and the roads maybe and force people to grow food, take us back to 1910 iow... but we'd still be armed. Argentina collapsed and immediately half the gnp was in the hands of organized crime, warlords of a sort. Is that too terrible, irretrievable, etc.?
That depends on how much know-how goes down with the toppling (which has already occurred, according to some, and which is why there's so much famine and dying of exposure in the US).
They have no interest in invading the lower states, but they probably have their eye on Alaska. Not enough moose loving going on down here for them I'm thinking. Plus, wouldn't it seem strange for a man to continue sleeping beneath a pile of several large dogs if the climate didn't require it? And to boot, Hockey in the U.S. is ranked only like fourteenth of America's top sports- right behind the WNBA. eheh- JK Rico! I love Canadian bacon (ham)
It's ok, I'm not Canadian, I only live there. Hockey... that's the show where the guys on skates have sticks and chase a rubber thing around? ; )
