Yeah, languages like python and javascript are smelly trash and not ideal but have ended up widely used in industry. Mainly because most companies just don't care about the internals of software codebases, as long as the end product works ok on the outside, that is all most of them tend to care about. Writing low frequency algos with Python should be fine, the end result will work well enough, even if the codebase is horrible. You also have armies of loyal users/programers who will defend these languages, but they are biased because their livelihoods depend on them.
I remember a time when everyone spat on C# because Microsoft was a sponsor/driver and I had to defend myself writing primarily C# code. The claim was that C# was an esoteric language and not as "pure" as C and C++. Bla bla, and on and on it went... ...use the tools that work for you or that your employer requires you to use. End of story.
always stated by someone who has never programmed anything successful in the life ever... or you would appreciate every code language has a great use.
Python is great for data mining and electronics. As well as Linux administration tasks. Simply because there are so many examples available that can make your life easier. But not for trading algorithms. Hopefully traders that are not part of a cult will change their codebase for something more robust.
C# is the best language out there by far. Someone that claims to be a c# developer would have never changed to Python, but you are full of shit, that is obvious. You are not a c# developer.
This language is that good that managed to get into the Linux kernel, also pissing off hundreds of c++ devs. Have you tried iced UIs? I want to give it a go but have no idea if it will lack at some point. I've seen the kraken desktop running it and it is gorgeous. I might become one of the rust boys.
I don't know if you have noticed that I have been ignoring you. But you keep trying to involve me into your questions. I am not interested in discussing anything with you. Your technical skills are very low. Last time I made the mistake to argue with something you said you kept telling me that to run c# you must be on Windows and you didn't even know that there's a .net core available for Linux users. You surprisingly claimed to be a c# developer. I am not interested in arguing with you.
