i was wondering if the tax on trading would effect non-americans. Im canadian, would we be exempt on the trading tax. Since we have a tax treaty with the states, wouldnt this get really murky.
It's a transaction tax dude, not a tax on profits. Unless you got soome connections with Goldman, why would you be exempt?
you would not be exempt, for example UK has stamp duty on every stock transaction and foreigners are not exempt.
