  1. Real People, Real Solutions, Real Success. Blahblahblah.
In contrast, no real data, no real performance, no US NFA licenses, no publications.

  2. Sounds interesting but a skilled trader might not be able to give his best, because of the high intensity of emotions.

emotions is very common human nature , and after having good trading knowledge most of the time we have to control it.

I see many have midunstanding on this.
It is like 1 vs 1 tournament on poker.
Both traders buy a ticket and the one who wins the game get the total money.
It is not necessary the one who makes high return wins the prize. It could be the one who lose less wins the prize.
Also it is as easy to decide a winner as other trading contest.
One major advantage is that it is 100 times easier to make money than you make money from real trading.
Because 99% traders are losers and now your counterpart are those losers instead of market. And even you lose money in a contest you could still win the game because your countpart lose more than you.So the best strategy in this game is not to take any action.

  6. Why only 2? Why not pool $ of unlimited no. of participants with each paying e.g $100 to join and pool prize distribution of 40%, 20%, 10%, 5%, 3%, 2%, 10x1% , and 10% for organizer?
What about tournament period? 1 to 3 months? 1 year is too long like this one.

Shouldn't there be rules that you have to meet a number of trades per day/week. That would be stupid if you can stay idle and win a tournament. Also, you may be wrong if it's Sim Trading. Most traders become profitable in SIM. It's real trading that gets them.

I like the idea, but at the same time I doubt it can be implemented as easily as online poker. Also, tournaments should involve many players. It's a waste of time battling 1vs1.

I use to play some of the sponsored free tournaments over at Wall Street Survivor. Easily won a tourny with over 500 players and received a $1000 Amazon gift card.

Why? Cash is a position. Trading is as much about keeping your money as making money.

In a sit&go poker tournament, players could avoid action to gain advantage, why trading should be different?
In real trading can you sit on cash? So why a trading game should be different? Even you make rules that traders need to make a number of trades, they can buy and sell a second later, that make your rules useless.

Also your impression that in a sim most traders are profitable is not true. because it is a multiple thousand traders contest and you only pay attention to winners.
It is a sim but it costs money.A trader needs to buy a ticket, although the amount of money is smaller.

There is an interesting statistics for a prop firm sim:
Among those traders who earned their funded accounts, only 3% reached first profit split.(For those who are assigned funded accounts, only 3% whose accounts are positive at the end of the month).
    These are also sim accounts.

Reread what you wrote above. The way you worded it was to not take any action at all from start til the end of the tournament.

In sit & go your avoiding action to wait for premium hands. That is called being patient. What your referring too is to not participate at all & let your opponent screw up ftw!

Which sounds kinda silly from a tournament structural perspective. (Not your strategy if it allows that.)
